Once again, it’s that time of year when the sun shines a little brighter, when the breeze blows a little cooler, when the world revolves a little smoother. Yes, it’s Manila Design Week. If October is beer month, August is now officially design month.Manila Design Week 2010 - designpinoy

You don’t have to be the artsy-fartsy type to appreciate design. Everywhere you look you can see designs. Whether good or bad, design is a part of our life which makes it usable and beautiful. Come and participate in the events this week to have a different gimik venue for a change orĀ  impress your date by pretending to be artistically inclined.

MUST WATCH – Manila Design Week on Youtube

This video just proves that design can be really weird sometimes. From iPod eating football players to Makati office girls licking subway floors, it just gets better towards the end. Awesome production nonetheless. This tickled my optic nerves when I watched it:

Did you attend or want to attend Manila Design Week? What was your experience?

  1. Went to the MDW events for Wall-Lords, Cut and Paste, and for 70’s Rock. All were… awesome! Too bad I wasn’t able to take photos from the C&P event. It was too intense that I had to literally stare at the screens for the whole process they were making their posters. And well, the 70’s rock was good too, though I didn’t quite feel the 70’s theme that much – more like, booze and let’s hang… (oh wait, does that mean I did experience 70’s rock?)
